Riding in the sidecar of insanity http://coldhardslag.com/sidebars <p>There was once a magical ferret named Jimmie who decided to learn how to program computers. He picked up the Perl language with ease and started writing programs that would automatically fetch him a ration of food into his luxury wire cage.</p><p>Eventually he grew tired of this and left his cage to find work in Silicon Valley. There he formed a startup which sadly, went under during the dot-com bust.&nbsp;</p><p>Homeless, alone, and out of work, he hitchhiked across the country in search of the true way. On his journey he met a badger named Christoph who told him of a mystical language that would solve all the world&#39;s problems: Ruby. Jimmie embraced the language and was again filled with hope!</p><p>With his newly-found resolve Jimmie the ferret started coding for the web, and eventually became the leader of a wild pack of ninjas who helped him create this very site.
